Totoro Mittens

With all the snow around here lately I thought you might want to know about the warmest pair of mittens ever. I knit these mittens with Cascade Baby Alpaca Chunky on size 2 needles, and I have yet to encounter cold that can get through them. If you want some merely average mittens you can do as the pattern suggests and knit with worsted weight yarn on size 5 needles. The pattern is Norwegian Totoro Mittens by Brella and is available as a free Ravelry download.

Oh. My. God.

I'll be in later this week to pick up some of that yarn.

What a great pattern! Thanks for sharing it. I loved Totoro when it first came out...maybe it's time for a re-watch.
