ReBelle in the Kernel

Today the Kentucky Kernel, newspaper of the University of Kentucky, ran a feature on ReBelle. We are very excited to see our name in print and we are very grateful that the University paper took the time to write about us.

The yarn in the picture is Madil's Eden which is 100% bamboo and feels and drapes like silk. This yarn is perfect for making a scarf for late summer or early Fall weather. Here are some patterns that will work great with this yarn.

Branching Out from Knitty- 2 balls

Clapotis from Knitty- 6 balls

Or you can make this easy scarf which uses dropped yarn overs to really show off the yarn.

Skinny Drop Stitch Scarf

Yarn: 2 balls Eden Madil
Needles: US7 straight needles
Skill Level: Beginner

CO 15 stitches
Row 1: knit
Row 2: *k1,yo* rep to last stitch, k1
Row 3: *k1, drop next stitch* rep to last stitch, k1
Row 4: knit

Repeat rows 1-4 until you run out of yarn and bind off. If you want to add fringe leave about 8 yards of yarn at the end.
