Knitwear Design Workshop

Knitwear Design Workshop provides instructions for designing and knitting your own sweaters, tops, skirts and dresses. It begins simply with information about fibers, weights, and stitch patterns and goes on to detail various types of construction, shaping, necklines and finishing techniques. This is the type of book you will turn to time and time again.
It also includes patters for some stunning projects. My favorite is this pea coat with subtle hourglass shaping and intricate cables. Anyone interested in doing a knit-a-long?

I would love to knit this, too, although I don't think I'm even close to ready to know something that complicated.

The biggest size is 50" to fit bust size 46, but you could probably add some extra cable panels in easily.
