November happenings
We have several new yarns in the store including recycled sari yarns, banana silk yarns, more colors of Noro, and lots of new Malabrigo colors. We are rapidly expanding our selection of handmade items, many by local artisans. We have new beaded stitch markers, jewelry made from forks and spoons, journals from old books, stickers, and buttons. We recently stumbled upon these little dolls made in Thailand from one continuous piece of string. They are fair trade and come in 30 varieties. We will be adding special items and classes for the holidays so make sure to stop by and see what's new.
Also, don't forget about our holiday cozy contest. If you make a cozy for any item in the store out of scrap yarn and submit it to us by December 31, you will be entered in a drawing for a pair of hand blown glass knitting needles from Namaste. So far we only have one entry so your chances are pretty good. Our last cozy contest brought several creative cozy ideas including a cash register cozy, a stitch marker cozy and a doorknob cozy.
