December Hours

Starting Monday, December 1 we will be open 7 days a week with extended hours for the holiday season. Our store hours for December 1-23 are Monday-Saturday 10am-8pm and Sundays 12-6pm and we will be open 10am-5pm on Christmas eve so that you will have plenty of opportunities to do your holiday shopping! We will be closed Christmas Day and New Years Day.

New Addi Sizes!

Addi turbo and lace needles are now available in 2 new sizes: 2.25mm and 2.75mm. These are equivalent to a more standard American size 1 and 2.

Chunky Alpaca

We have had many requests for a chunky alpaca and after looking at several different brands, we found frog tree. Not only do they have beautifully soft alpaca yarn at a reasonable price, but they are also a non-profit. They buy their fiber from socially and environmentally conscious non-profit groups in Peru and Bolivia. Any profits that they make go to benefit educational projects. We are carrying their hand dyed chunky multi-tone alpaca, 108 yds/100g in seven colors and we have some variegated colors in the same weight. (Sadly, we won't be able to restock the variegates because they are discontinuing them, so get them while you can!)

The 6" steel double pointed needles some of you have been asking for are here. We also have 8" steel double points and some 9" circular needles, specially made just for socks!
